Meet Your 2027 16U-17U Indy Grind Elite Manager

Coach JJ Montgomery a Indianapolis, IN native graduating from Lawrence Central High School in 2015. Coach JJ would attend Juco Northwest Florida State 2015-2017 where is played his first to college ball years. Coach would then go on play at the university of Central Florida for a year 2017-2018 where he also studied human communication with a minor in business. After one great year at UCF, Coach JJ interned the 2018 MLB Draft being the 207th pick, round 7 to the Baltimore Oriels. 

Coach JJ's Awards/Accomplishments: 

• 2012-2015 first team all state Indiana 

•First team all conference panhandle 2015-2017 RHP

•2016/2017 first team all state tournament (juco playoffs) 

•First team all conference American athletic conference 2018 UCF

•207th pick round 7 in 2018 MLB draft to Baltimore Orioles
